Ad Fed awards four scholarships to SFCC students
Last fall, the Spokane Advertising Federation hosted “A Red Shoe Event” holiday party and art auction. This auction raises funds for the Toni M. Robideaux Scholarship Fund, which honors her contributions to the Spokane Advertising, art and design communities.
The Toni Robideaux Scholarship Fund recognizes and rewards student achievement and excellence in advertising arts. All funds generated at the auction go directly to students currently enrolled in visual and performing arts, graphic design, photography, music or marketing communication programs at accredited local and regional colleges and universities.
Each year local designers are asked to create works of art from unfinished furniture. SFCC Graphic Design Club Officers Julie Edminston, Areli Nathanson, Jason Bansemer, Tyler Cantrell and Elizabeth Abshire participated and created this year's club chair to be auctioned off.
