Course Description:
This intermediate-level course focuses on the technology
platform used in the design profession. Emphasis is on
computer graphics software applications, type formatting
and appropriate file construction. Students learn
fundamental and intermediate software skills necessary to
complete projects in GRDSN 113. In addition to page
layout, drawing and software applications, students focus
on fundamental photo manipulation and three-dimensional
design software.
Pre-requisites: GRDSN102
or permission of instructor
Concurrent Enrollment:
GRDSN 111, 113, 114 and 115 or permission of instructor
Activities:
Activities include lectures, demonstrations, self-paced
tutorial work, and studio exercises. This course supports the second quarter projects.

At the Completion of the course the student will
be able to:
Produce a designated list of completed competencies that
are included with each project .
The grading policy is stated on the Project Sign Off Sheets.
Note: Your technology instructor will review the final digital documents two times. Any technical issues will need to be fixed accordingly. If a student needs the technology reviewed a third time, the student receives a 0.0 grade. All technoolgy projects and exercises need to be completed by the last scheduled class time.
