Scenario: A candy store, Sweet Treats, would like you to create a 6 column inch, black and white ad using any artwork you deem appropriate and the words, "Don't forget your Valentine." You will want to show the client some ideas first so you will make some good thumbnails created in the proper format. Ad sizes are found in the spokesman_ad specs.pdf file in the To Access folder located under AVA Disciplines>GRDSN>Ward>To Access>valentine_bw_ad folder. The logo must be included as well and is found in the same folder (candy_logo.ai).You will draw at least ten good thumbnails to present to your instructor for the ad. Your job is to make sure the client understands what you are talking about. This means that you will have to look at things critically and represent them quickly. Since typography is an important part of the project, represent large type (headline type) so that others can read it and know what it looks like. Once complete, turn in your thumbnails and your assessment sheet in a manila envelope with your name and the project you are working on written on the front. Be sure to make the thumbnails in proportion to your ad.
