Scenario:

You are a designer with an advertising agency and are working on a project with other designers creating a logo for a company, Three Bears. This company designs leather gear for all age groups: slippers, purses, coats, belts and the like. Draw at least ten readable thumbnails using a pencil and three effective roughs using the computer to present to your instructor. Your job is to draw a clean logo to scan with enough contrast so the client will be able to understand what it looks like and that it is a good representation of your idea. Research well-known logos and the Gestalt principles to know what is effective. Draw the logo in black and white, scan it and trace it on the computer. Add no more than 2 colors. Mount your logo professionally: logo size is 4 inches in one direction, on black mat board with a 2" border and tissue. Turn in your thumbnails and your assessment sheet in a manila envelope with your name and the project you are working on written on the front.
