1. Project Goal(s )
A. What is the goal of this project? To Announce and invite people form the design community to the Graduate show and also for them not to throw the invitation away when they recieve it in the mail.

2. The Audience
A. Identify and describe the primary audience.
Graphic Designers, Art Directors, Creative Directors (future employers)
B. Are there other audiences and in what order of importance are they? Student's and student's parents. also student's friends
C. What languages and/or terminology speaks clearly to these audiences? Good design (professional level work). eye catching colors, and clever or witty headlines and content. something modern and hip.

3. The Message
A. What is the message you are trying to send to the audience?
That there is a graphic design student graduation show, and that they really want to go to it.
B. If you could get one sentence through all the clutter, what would that be? Go to the show and you will be impressed and entertained.

4. Objectives
(for the viewer not to throw the invitation away)
A. State the main idea you are trying to communicate (objective)? There is a design show for the SFCC graphics design graduate students and they are good designers.
B. How can you effectively communicate your objective (strategy)? Use clear headlines and content, eye catching colors, strong images, and unique paper and construction of the invitation.
C. Is your strategy conceptual or compositional? Conceptual
D. What choices of design elements, principals and typography support your strategy? I will use repetition, symmetry, color, line, and many others in the design. I will also use unique, bold, and easy to read typography.

5. The Medium
A. What are some ways to reach this audience?
Eye catching colors, unique artwork, and clever content. something that sets it apart from the rest.
B. How will this piece be delivered to the audience? snail mail
C. Imagine how they would interact with this piece? they will receive it in the mail, pick it up and flip it open (or turn it around) and read the content, then mark the date of the show on their calendar.

A. When must the message get to the audience for maximum effect? At least a week before the grad. show
B. When must the finished design be delivered? 10/13/06

A. What is the budget for this project? ?
B. Has this budget been approved? By Whom? ?
C. What quantities do you need to produce? 500-1000

A. Who needs to be involved in the process? the designer, the production manager, the art director and the client
