GRDSN 238, 3D Animation I
Project: Still Life

Scenario:

Mr. Right has commissioned you to illustrate a still life to put on his book cover about place settings for dinner parties. He would like it to be creative enough to grab readers attention right away, as he wants to sell a lot of his books. He also would like to show that his place settings will look great with food and will encourage folks to entertain. You may set up a still life to recreate on the computer or creatively set one up from your imagination. Thumbnails of ideas will help you get started.

Primary tasks:

A. Research

B. Set up a scene to give you a guide for creation of objects or creatively make up a scene as you go

C. Model the objects

D. Check different viewpoints.

E. Render the image

F. Present the illustration as a color laser proof.
