GRDSN 238, 3D Animation I
Project: Storybook Illustration

Scenario:

You would like to be selected to create an illustration for a storybook. The client would like you to present an illustration of your choice using 3 dimensional software so that she can see what you have to offer in ability and imagination. You will need to present it both on screen and in print, as it will be finished as a book illustration and on a CD. In addition you decide to animate a small part of the illustration, so the client might choose to use it on the internet.

Primary tasks:

A. Research stories

B. Set up a scene to give you a guide for creation of objects or creatively make up a scene as you go

C. Model and render the objects

D. Submit your screen shot and a mounted color print to your instructor. along with the animation.

3= Demonstrates competency with clarity, uniqueness and depth.
