239: 3D Modeling/Animation II Project: Business
Office
Scenario:
The Spokane
Chamber of Commerce has a great idea to
promote new business. They want to create a
fly-through of several business offices in
Spokane to show what interesting businesses
we have here. You have been selected to
create one for a particular business.
Primary
tasks:
A. Visit a
business.
- Ask permission to
illustrate the office and create the
animation.
- Measure the spaces and
major pieces of furniture.
- Take photos of the
office space.
B. Model and render
the objects and the background.
- Model the objects as
closely as possible to accurate
proportions.
- Render the objects.
C. Animate the
fly-through.
D. Submit your
screen shot, animation and a mounted color print
to your instructor.
Objectives:
- Accurately illustrate
the business office.
- Use a camera
effectively for animation.
- Time the animation
smoothly and realistically.
- Fly-through the space
creatively.
- Submit illustration in
a professional manner and on time.
- Follow written and
oral directions.
Grading
Criteria:
The final project
will be assessed on:
