Evaluation instructions

1. Begin by creating a folder on the server with your last name_firstname as the title. Create a sub folder named: portfolio_evaluation
   
   
2. Open one of the following evaluation files in Dreamweaver...
• portfolio_eval.html for print designs
• web_eval.html for web designs
  
  
3. Using Dreamweaver choose File>Open and Save As... to save the file to your sub folder as "lastname_evaluation.htm"
   
   
4. Create a web graphic (gif or jpeg) or screen capture of your chosen portfolio piece within the specified pixel dimensions, save the file to a sub folder named images, and insert it in the portfolio evaluation page.
   
   
5. Evaluate the piece by answering the questions.
   1. Use the scale definition to rate your piece
   2. For each question, select a number and make it bold.
      
      
6. Save the file to the server when finished.
   
   
7. Use Dreamweaver to open the roster.htm file (in the evaluations folder).
   
   
8. Choose File>Edit Page and select your name.
   
   
9. Link your name to your evaluation page.
   
   

Evaluation Criteria

1. The purpose is clear and specific.
   
   
2. Each evaluation area:
   
   
   • clearly attempts to realize the objective.
     
     
   • should answer the question: "How does this attempt to realize the purpose?".
